Wow, that is a gorgeous house, and I hope there wasn’t too much damage.
Cats are so fickle. I am a dog person myself, but we have a cat and if he weren’t so affectionate and loving, we would have found him a cat person to live with.

Beautiful home and yes your words and photos are one in the same.
Love the sleepy eyed cat photo.
Looks like he/she had a late nights prowl.
Hope everything is back to ‘normal’ and that you’re having a great time.
    Safe trip home!

The house is gorgeous and with the water access, just perfect, but Holy Moly, that cloud line in the gathering storm picture is something else…what you’d imagine in a movie when something ominous is about to happen…which I guess your event qualified.

Yikes! It looks like the storm that blew through Daytona while we were there. Water Spouts, tornadoes and 70 mph straight line winds. At least we had no flooding. But the rest is beautiful!

Li: What a cool house. Too bad they didn’t give you the low down on the drain before they left. Where do I mail your Mom’s Birthday present now. E-mail me.

Hello, I would love a copy of your free Herringbone scarf pattern, but I’ve got to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog, particularly the flooding story and your description of the humidity, the lovely cheesecake, and learning that you are a very pleasant ## woman. lol
    Regards,
    Cary
