Why does Gracee look so anxious?

Because Mari is clipping her nails:

Mari has to wrestle the beast into compliance:

But that’s OK, they’re still friends:

You need a nervous dog like mine who bites his own nails ! It’s one of those blocky labs. They are nervous because they think people are talking about how fat they are. hee! hee! What are you crocheting? It looks like the outcome of finger knitting.

It looks like Gracee isn’t taking it too too badly. We had a dog that went wacko whenever he had his nails clipped. Pretty crochet – are you a novice or taking the class to learn a particular technique?

Li: Those are fabulous photos of your dog and your daughter You should e-mail them nto a pet magazine so they can do an article about nail cutting for dogs. The facial expression on Gracie is adorable. Your scarf looks like the pretty fluffy cloud picture. What is new with the bracelet saga?

That first picture made me wonder if there was a foot in all that fluff! 🙂

What a sweet little girl! Nail clipping can be very traumatic.

That reminds me – I need to clip Hester’s nails. She’s not too bad, but I do have to wrestle her around on the floor and I end up covered in dog hair. Kirby, on the other hand, acts as if we’re trying to kill him or at least maim him for life, so his nails are left for the groomer!

Oh Abner hates having that done. And when it goes on, he’s 85 pounds of wiggle.

Gracee looks pretty well-behaved. It takes four people to clip my Newfoundland’s nails–six if you don’t want any injuries!

I’m very glad the trimmer always clips the nails of our dog. We tried to brush his teeth fo a while because of his lovely breath, but that was not a great succes at all.
    Love the Vancouver sky !
