A finished object! And what an object it is. Introducing "C’Est La Vie" in Classic Elite Miracle, a mixture of tencel (wood fibre) and alpaca. Post knit review:

1. I love Fiddlesticks patterns.

2. I liked this one so much, I’ve started another one in red, with a black ruffle. Sure, another 1400+ ruffle stitches in black, I can handle it.

Dsc01646 Dsc01631 3. It’s good to do a project first in black. The oops don’t show up as much.

4. Apologies to Charlotte, I’m not likely to ever knit a triangular shawl again. This "v" shape drapes so beautifully and stays on so well.

5. I calculated the yardage requirement for this project at 16 skeins of Classic Elite Miracle. I used exactly ten skeins. Go figure.

Ooooh, I like that! Nice color for NYC 🙂 How did you like knitting with the Miracle yarn? I’ve been tempted to try the cotton/tencel taht Classic Elite sells.

Beautiful job – and it looks beautiful on as well. I like that shape because it looks like it stays on without fussing. You’re right about the triangle shawls. I love to knit them and love the look, but they’re a little “fussy” to wear. Hmm – I may need to go look at that pattern again.

Lovely, Lovely. It looks nice on you. Where is the snowball yarn? Anything cooking with that?

Fiddlesticks patterns are the best, I have never had a problem with one, but from what I understand when people do they also get amazing customer service.
It looks great by the way.

Absolutely gorgeous! I can’t believe you’re willing to so the ruffle thing again. I’m amazed anyone would do it the first time. 😉 It’s a work of art – you should be really proud of that.

Beautiful Li, just beautiful! I love the ruffle! I pretty much love all ruffles. I must be a girly girl at heart. I have some black yarn waiting in the wings to become a shawl too one of these days.
    Have a great weekend! 🙂

i found your herringbone rib scarf while looking for examples of carly’s kerchief. i have a current obsession with handpainted yarns and this is a great pattern for making the most of color changes. where can i get a copy of the pattern?

It’s beautiful! Looks very wearable too, most lace shawls look like you would have to be going to a formal to wear them but that one is pretty but a little more casual. If you can do that you can do socks I’m sure! 🙂
