Life's a Stitch

And more recently life’s a creative adventure with some travel thrown in.

I apologize for not being as good a blogger as I have been. You see, there is a dead mouse somewhere in the wall next to our computer, and I have to post with the window open wide, letting in the cold wet air, lest I become asphyxiated with rotten mouse. Chuck kindly lit the cookie dough candle last night for me and now it smells like dead mouse cookie dough. You must appreciate the fact that on-line smell-a-vision hasn’t been adequately developed.

Dsc01349Here is an update on the left over throw. Nadia pointed out, that after having seen it in person, the photos don’t show its true wonderful textures. I’ve made a point of brushing up its hairy bits in hopes of a more accurate picture.

Gasp! We’re having the same problem at work. Imagine deadmouse, floral air freshener and dental office smells all combined. The throw really is pretty. Would it be politically incorrect to ask about Marina? : )

I can relate to the dead mouse. We rented a house for a while that had mice. We called the people to come spray – or whatever they did. Well, it worked, they killed one. However, he died in our wall. First, they told me that they don’t die in the wall, they die outside. Well, apparently, this one didn’t get the memo that he was supposed to go outside. FUN!

Wow, you made that from your left-overs? It looks fabulous. Inspired me to check out my own leftovers.

Hi Li, that throw is so pretty. I love the color lavender in that. I am going to San Diego for four days on Nov.9th. A friend from Fairfield is going with and Tony and I. Kate and I will visit another friend who lives in San Diego. I am staying at the hotel with Tony and Kate is staying with our friend Linda. Tony has a convention of the annual Commercial Finance Association there. It will be at the San Diego Marriot Hotel and Marina. It looks lovely. Hall & Oates are playing the last night which will be great. It is on the website http://www.cfa.com.
I don’t get away too often so I am looking forward to this. Tony will be in meetings all day and then going out at night with fellow bankers to network. Kate and I are renting a car (a convertible) and touring and visiting.
When we get a mouse we use traps and that takes care of the. We don’t use poisen because the die in the wall.
