Life's a Stitch

And more recently life’s a creative adventure with some travel thrown in.

Dsc01318 Max, a knitting blogger, from When Usually It’s Nothing fame, has died. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer a short while ago and died on Sunday in his mother’s arms. He was 40. Max’s partner requests that you share your love with your family and that you have a drink in his memory. This is mine.

How sad that Max passed away. You had just become friendly through your blogs. You must be sad and the rain doesn’t help!!! The next seven days are going to be torrential downpours here on Connecticut. The prior four days were on an off moderate to light rain. I have never seen so much rain in my life. My brook, pond and creek will grow in size for sure. The ducks will surf by the back of my house on the creek like a wetslide. I have only seen in twice in the twelve years I have lived here. I am subbing twice this week and real estate the other days. I am a busy lady. The wrap or shawl looks nice. Keep adding more of that light blue it is lovely.

Wow. That’s the second youngish type to go from cancer this month on the blogs.
I raise my caffeinated beverage to all the young who go too soon.
