Thanks everybody for your concern during this crisis. Chuck will stay in the hospital until they can identify what bacteria is causing the problem, then will send him home for IV antibiotics through a PICC line (a catheter to a major vein just above the heart) for at least two weeks. I have to get that bedroom clean and organized lest the home care nurse think that the room was the cause of his contamination!

Stressful times indeed.Men are so lucky to have us to push them to go to hospital – my male entity spent 4 hours in A&E on a morphine drip on saturday.Kidney stones ! If I’ve told him to drink more once,I’ve told him 1 million times !
I hope that Chuck’s knee improves fast, the two weeks pass quickly and without incident and that you take care of yourself.LikeLike

I am so impressed that in the midst of all your husband’s problems, you opened up your home to his roommate’s wife. That simple act of kindness gave me a much needed boost and undoubtedly, did far more for your guest. Thank you.
And, those nurses are going to enjoy visiting you all…Gracie, mice, yarn, teenagers, laughter…what’s not to love?LikeLike
